Mergewrite Terms of Service

Mergewrite is operated by Tony Chang, a sole proprietor ("we", "us"). Purchases are sold through the merchant of record named below, which is the seller on your receipt. By using Mergewrite you agree to these terms. Contact: support@mergewrite.com.

Service and acceptable use

Mergewrite creates documents and sends email using the Google account you authorize. You must have rights to the source data, templates, recipients, and generated content. Do not use Mergewrite for spam, unlawful content, credential theft, harassment, quota evasion, or activity that violates Google or Lemon Squeezy terms. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and honoring privacy, education, employment, tax, and communications laws.

The service depends on Google API and Gmail quotas. Gmail limits are not bypassed; delivery may be deferred when a limit is reached. We may suspend abusive or security-threatening use. The subscription fair-use threshold is 10,000 generated files per calendar month; crossing it does not block or automatically charge the user, but permits us to contact the user about usage.

Plans, renewals, cancellation, and the 30-day money-back guarantee

The free plan includes 50 generated files per UTC calendar month. One generated file uses one credit. Purchased packs contain 100 credits for $9 or 500 credits for $29 and do not expire. Subscriptions are $12 monthly or $99 annually. Lemon Squeezy is merchant of record and processes all payment details, taxes, receipts, renewal reminders, cancellations, and eligible refunds. Subscription cancellation is self-serve and access continues through the paid period.

30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with any Mergewrite purchase, whether a credit pack or a subscription, contact support@mergewrite.com within 30 days of the transaction and we will refund it in full. A refunded pack's credits are removed; a refunded subscription ends immediately. Refunds are processed by the merchant of record and reach the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Availability and warranty

We aim for reliable service and visible per-row outcomes, but provide Mergewrite "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free output. Preview important merges before bulk delivery. To the extent allowed by law, aggregate liability is limited to amounts paid for Mergewrite in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential loss.

Ownership and termination

Users retain ownership of source data, templates, and generated Drive files. Mergewrite and its software, branding, and documentation remain ours. Users may stop using the service and delete their account at any time. We may terminate accounts for material breach after reasonable notice where practicable. Terms may change prospectively; material updates are posted with a new effective date.
